Have Kids?
At Landing Place Church, our KidzLink and NextGen Ministries are here to help your kids grow in faith, friendship, and fun! From energetic worship and engaging Bible lessons to creative activities and caring leaders, your children will discover just how much God loves them — all in a safe, and age-appropriate environment.

1. El Jardín Mexican Restaurant

A beloved local spot serving up burritos, tacos, enchiladas—and a killer green chile. It’s been family-owned for over 40 years and even recognized as Commerce City’s Business of the Year.
Casual, colorful, with a menu sure to please both kids and adults.
2. Las Margs

Margaritas for parents and a warm, home-style Mexican menu for everyone. With a patio and friendly atmosphere, it’s great for a birthday dinner or weekend family outings.
3. Bison Grill – Buffalo Run Golf Course

Enjoy the menu with a wide variety of options and accessible golf-course culture. A relaxed setting with space for kids to stretch. Enjoy the expansive outdoor patio that overlooks the golf course. Kids eat free on Sunday evenings!

Casual, crowd-pleasing pizza chain favored by locals. Known for handtossed, ovenfired crust loaded with toppings. The sauce has a touch of sweetness that pairs well with savory ingredients. This is a family favorite!

Looking for great outdoor spots in the community? Here’s a guide to the best parks and recreational spaces perfect for families, fitness, or quiet reflection:
1. Reunion Park
This expansive 52-acre park offers trails, athletic fields, playgrounds and benches, plus an amazing coffee shop overlooking the water- ideal for picnics, strolls, concerts, or outdoor movies. Whether you’re chasing sunsets or ducks, you’ll find plenty of beauty and activity here.
2. Southlawn Park
This family-friendly park is designed for outdoor enjoyment. It includes a pavilion with a stage, open fields, walking paths, and a playground.
3. Fronterra Park
A nearly 20-acre nature-inspired park featuring open playfields and scenic landscaping. It’s close to schools and offers a pleasant setting for family recreation.
4. Second Creek Trail
The Second Creek Open Space maintains a network of open trails connecting the Reunion neighborhood to the Buffalo Run Golf Course and follows Second Creek. Prairie dogs, coyotes, and many bird species call the open space home. There are benches, gazebos, and a restroom available along the trail.
